Our Deepest Fear

One of my favorite quotes reminds me that each of us is a Child of God, that we must magnify our gifts & talents especially in these trying times. Lets all do our part to make this world a better place because 'YOU ARE AMAZING'!
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” by Marianne Williamson

Kyle & Jen

We are excited for the arrival of a new baby in the Thatcher Family. Kyle & Jen are expecting April 11th. Every baby is a miracle & a gift from God. We are looking forward to meeting this new little spirit into our Family. It's amazing how time has flown and now our children are having their own families. We are so blessed with AMAZING CHILDREN. Each day is an adventure and we look forward to all the future has to hold.

Have Grandbaby will Fly

So since I took Staci to BYUI I thought since I was so close I had to take the opportunity to see McKenna. I don't want any chance of her forgetting us here in Washington. I watched McKenna on Monday while Charla & Jade worked. We had so much fun! I then made dinner for the entire family. Way too much food but I love having family dinners and sitting back and listening to my children talk. Rare moments that will create memories forever. If I could get on a plane every week I would but unfortunately I do have to make money! Of course I have to share some pics of McKenna so you will understand why I take every opportunity I can to see her. Hint! Hint! Jade, Washington is an amazing place to live.

Road Trip

Staci & I once again began the trek back to BYUI! Ok so I HATE roadtrips! Especially since I can fly cheaper & faster anywhere. But I cherish the rare one on one time with one of my children for 12 hours. I get their full attention & learn all about their life. We listended to the book 'Twilight' ok so I get a little bit of the craze! I am continuing the books just to be able to know what this willful young Bella will do. Bella reminds me alot of my Ashley. LOL!

I am sad to have Staci leave she is my thoughtful one that loves to give hugs and is always willing to listen to my crazy ideas. She will be missed but I am so excited for her to experience college life.

Family Reunion at Crescent Bar

We had so much fun the last week at our annual Crescent Bar trip. Each year we grow in numbers and this year we had 9. If you don't know where Crescent Bar is it is a little know oasis on the Columbia River situated about 20miles outside of Wenatchee. We love this place! Many memories have been made here & continue each and every year. One of the best parts is that cell phone reception is limited & we leave the outside world behind and focus for a week on just being a family. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do. I marvel that my family is so grown up and at times it makes me feel old. With Charla & her little family, Kyle & his girlfriend Jen, Chris & Staci, & last but not least our baby Ashley, Mark & I feel very blessed go be parents of such awesome kids! Thanks kids for all the memories and being the best you can be in your lives.

How our family has grown!

Zions National Park

Charla, McKenna & I took off on Wednesday evening to see Zions National Park. It was so much fun because for the First reason I was with 2 of my favorite girls and the Second reason it was an amazing site. It was incredible to see the breathtaking views and realize we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful country. I would put this on one of my top 100 places to visit before you die. Take the trip you will not be sorry.
