Mark & I have been involved with the Lake's High School Concert for the last 13 years! Tonight was the final concert that we will have one of our children singing in. It was very bitter sweet. Excited for the future but sad in the fact that we truly have loved being involved with the choir and the kids. For years we have chaperoned choir trips, helped with fund raising, and attended concerts. The kids were always such an inspiration to listen to and we enjoyed the journey. Of course Ashley was excited to have it end as you see in her final pic!

Busy Busy Week!
I think the Thatcher Family is on overload! Always this time of year we become consumed in the events of the kids. Ending our busy week was the Lakes Senior Prom! Ashley went with her friend Sarah. She looked beautiful and I can't believe she is graduating in just a few weeks! There are sure alot of things I wish I would have done now! Time is so precious and before you know it your baby is graduating. There are times I wish time could be turned back I would be sitting at the Country Club watching my 4 little ones play for hours without a care in the world. Dang why is it that real life has to take over. LOL!

Family Time
We were very lucky to have Kyle, Jen & little Tessa come spend 10days with us. What fun! First of all we spoiled Tessa to death. Sorry Jen & Kyle she probably will never want to be layed down again. Someone always had her in their arms. Life just keeps getting more interesting and definitely more busy!

Proud Mom & Dad
Mark & I are always so proud of our children. So of course we like to brag. We were invited to attend a Dessert Recognition for All Honor Grads of Clover Park School District. It was a fun event. Congratulations Ashley! We love you!
A Big Congratulations to Courtney & Katie as well. These three girls are going to take BYU by storm.

Freak Out!
Oh my goodness! I looked at the count down. Five months and counting. How is life moving so quickly. We are so excited for Chris & Staci's Wedding Date but life just moves at warp speed lately. I am afraid that before we know it Mark & I will have great grandchildren. Just kidding! Life is such an adventure! I love every minute of it but could it just slow down a minute I can't keep up.

Happy Mother's Day!
A few favorite mom quotes:
Let every mother realize that she has no greater blessing than the children which have come to her as a gift from the Almighty; that she has no greater mission than to rear them in light and truth, and understanding and love; that she will have no greater happiness than to see them grow into young men and women who respect principles of virtue, who walk free from the stain of immorality and from the shame of delinquency. . . . I remind mothers everywhere of the sanctity of your calling. No other can adequately take your place. No responsibility is greater, no obligation more binding than that you rear in love and peace and integrity those whom you have brought into the world. –Gordon B. Hinckley
I remember my mother’s prayers and they have always followed me.
They have clung to me all my life. — Abraham Lincoln
Some mothers are kissing mothers and some are scolding mothers, but it is love just the same, and most mothers kiss and scold together. ~Pearl S. Buck
“It is not until you become a mother that your judgment slowly turns to compassion and understanding.” ~ Erma Bombeck
