What a busy & exciting week. Staci got accepted at BYU Business College and is very excited to attend the Interior Design Program there. Chris will be attending UVU and persuing a Hospitality Major.
Charla is so excited all her siblings are going to be down by her. She has been planning everyones life and holiday plans. I couldn't be happier as a mom to have all my kids in one place and enjoying being together.
Ashley heard today that she got accepted to BYU! I think Mark & I are more excited then she is. How strange it will be to have an empty home next year. All of our kids will be either living or attending school in Utah. I guess my flight benefits come in very handy because I am sure that we will making several trips down to visit.
Little did Mark & I realize that our little family would begin to multiply quickly. I announced a little bit ago that Kyle & Jen were expecting in April and we couldn't have been more thrilled. Being a grandma & grandpa have been AMAZING! I have heard people say before that nothing is better then being grandparents. I didn't believe them I just thought ya whatever! But they weren't kidding. McKenna has been the highlight of our year. Now we are thrilled to announce that McKenna will be having a little brother or sister the end of July! We are very very excited. Life just keeps getting better with time. Thanks kids for being amazing and bringing these little people into our family they truly make life rich.
WOW! I never thought I could do it but I DID! I focused this year at work to become one of the top 15% for Northwest Reservations quite an honor with as many great co-workers that I work with on a daily basis. For achieving this Northwest takes us on an All Expensed paid trip. This year it was held in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. We spent 4 days enjoying the sun and being treated to alot of amazingly fun activities. The best part was meeting all my co-workers from Tampa, Iron Range, Sioux City, Minneapolis & of course Seattle that I speak to everyday as a supervisor but can't put a face with a voice. Many times we share each others lifes ups & downs and it was so good to meet them in person. Mark really was glad for my achievements because he was able to come and participate.
How could this be! A year ago we were anxiously awaiting the birth of this special little girl and know it has already been a YEAR! How time flies. It has definately been an exciting & fun year watching her grow. She has been a blessing to our family. Mark & I truly love being grandparents!
Our family continues to grow! This year was especially fun. Everyone came home for the holidays. Our home was filled with our ever expanding family. Charla, Jade & McKenna brought alot of fun and excitement with McKenna's 1st Christmas. Kyle & Jen brought the excitement of their new life together as well as the amazement of a new little one soon to be added to their family in early April. Staci & her boyfriend Chris, what can I say about these two they are so fun and caring. Ashley finishing out the family she is so excited for her senior year to be over and always excited when everyone comes home because she is no longer the focus of all of our attention. We couldn't have asked for a Merrier Christmas no presents could ever compare to the blessings of families. Merry Christmas & a Very Happy New Year to All!
